Virtually InvisibleThe best part about the whole process is that most people won't even know you're straightening your teeth.
RemoveableInvisalign allows you to brush and floss your teeth normally for better health as well as eat whatever you want!
Picture Perfect SmileA picture is worth a thousand words! Every case is unique but the end result is always a more confident smile.
One of the best things about Invisalign is the minimal impact it has on your everyday life. Since the aligners are so comfortable, you should be able to wear them for the recommended 20 to 22 hours a day without much effort.
How Invisalign Works
Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist or orthodontist plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won't even know you're straightening your teeth.
What are the primary benefits of Invisalign?
With Invisalign, the aligner trays are not only smooth and comfortable to wear, but they're also removable. That means you can continue doing all the things you normally would, from brushing and flossing, to eating whatever you like. With other devices, brushing and flossing properly can often take up to 30 minutes!
Special occasion coming up? No problem — just take your aligners out for that time and pop them back in when you're ready. Of course, even when you're wearing them, most people won't even know you're going through treatment, because they are virtually invisible!
Invisalign is also ideal for your busy schedule, with fewer doctor visits required (approximately every six weeks).
The Invisalign Process
Step 1: Complimentary Consultation
You will meet with us to evaluate your concerns and determine the best possible treatment plan for you.
Step 2: The Records
We will take an X-ray, photos and 3-D Scan (or impressions) of your teeth that will help setup your individual case.
Step 3: Invisalign makes your aligners
Invisalign uses advanced 3-D computer imaging technology to manufacture custom-made aligners just for you.
Step 4: Wear your aligners
Smiles Orthodontics will give you several sets of aligners that will be worn between 10 – 14 days per set.
Step 5: You've Finished Treatment!
Once your beautiful new smile has been completed, we will provide two sets of clear retainers to maintain your teeth in their new position. These retainers should be worn for the remainder of your life (at night) to keep your new smile looking beautiful.
